Lynn Carden is best known for her botanicals. She infuses her large-scale depictions of flowers with all that she has learned over a career spanning from abstract expressionism to realism. The result is a look which feels historic, yet contemporary.
In addition to botanical subject matter, Carden paints landscape and still life. She works in oils or watercolor but her experimental work in water media on canvas has set her apart from her contemporaries.
